It is a huge success for the EIK team when four (4) of their amphibious undercarriages are selected for the largest mining project in Indonesia. A mining field of more than 200,000 hectares is worked by the EIK amphibious carriage AM350 and CAT336F. The AM250 transporter works to carry all the spare parts, materials, and tools that help the amphibious excavator work.

A tough job calls for the right machines. With a 25-ton to the 35-ton amphibious excavator, the clearing operation can be carried out efficiently. With their large footprints, the pontoons create a very low ground pressure, allowing the amphibious excavator to maneuver unrestricted in soft terrain. In this way, the entire area can be cleared without requiring any access trails.
